Factory opening attracts 1,400 visitors and VIPs

A factory opening and launch of a brand are big news.  Nicola’s brief was to develop the communications plan for opening day.  This meant identifying journalists across trade, local radio and regional media; inviting VIPs; preparing press materials, writing speeches; on the day arranging radio interviews and looking after VIPs. Outcomes were:

  • 1,400 visitors and VIPs during the first week
  • The story ran in all target media
